Farmacy HK is a recipient of the DBS Foundation Grant Awardees, a flagship programme to support both Social Enterprises (SEs) and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). DBS Foundation committed a total of SGD 3 million (equivalent to HKD 17 million) that will be disbursed to scale the growth and impact of 23 new grant awardees, who will join the Foundation’s growing community of over 100 businesses for impact in the bank’s key markets. Farmacy HK, along with Breer and Secure Information Disposal Services, are the three Hong Kong winners from the 2022 cohort that have been awarded the DBS Foundation Grant to create impact across social and environmental areas and improve the lives and livelihoods in the region.

Farmacy HK received the DBS Foundation’s grant and support as an enterprise that commits to enabling ecological farming of fresh produce in highly urbanised cities, with its Smart Hydroponic Farming System. The grant will enable Farmacy HK to increase it’s carbon efficiency by developing a new generation, more energy efficient farming system.
