Farmacy HK, the decentralised and data-driven urban farming technology company, officially opens it’s Green Space at Data and Technology Hub in TKO Science Park.

The company becomes the first to open a cloud-based, controlled environment Green Space Indoor Farm at DT Hub. The facilities will help Farmacy HK to further enhance its system and service provision through the focus of developing the most efficient plant species cultivation process. The development of new Smart Farming technologies will cater to Farmacy HK’s further expansion of it’s Decentralised and Data-Driven Farming Network in Hong Kong and across the world.

Farmacy’s farming space contains 24 growing racks. In full capacity, one growing rack can cultivate up to 3,500 plants, equivalent to 100 square meters of farmland. The farm site has the capacity to grow over 100 species of herbs, leafy greens, and edible flowers.

The site is also equipped with the latest data-driven technology. The racks have sensors that measure and control environmental conditions to ensure for the most efficient plant growth. The data from our network of farms is monitored in the Green Space Data Room and used for improvement of future growing.
