Following last year’s successful “Greenergy – Community Planting Care Project”, we have renewed our collaboration with HSBC Hong Kong Community Partnership Programme and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals for 2024, with even more schools and students participating!
The theme of this year’s project is ”Omakase – Young Entrepreneurs Incubation through Green Technology”. We will deliver a great experience to four schools in Wong Tai Sin and Tseung Kwan O districts, focusing on the youth development of 100 participating students. Throughout the year, they will have the opportunity to get hands-on with different technological innovations, such as generative AI and our very own Smart Mobile Farms, and adopt Green Skills and a sense of community!
To kick off the project, Farmacy joined hands with TWGH, the Asia AI Art Association, and panelist speakers to hold an Induction Day event. The students enjoyed a panelist sharing by Mr. Arthur Lam of Negawatt, Mr. Dennis Poon of Fotis Lab, and Raymond Mak representing Farmacy HK, to learn from different Green Entrepreneurs. The AI Art team showed how generative AI can serve as a tool for communicating ideas, with students getting a chance to use the exciting tech as well.
It was a memorable day for students and a great introduction to the many stakeholders and community efforts involved in creating a greener future.
Stay tuned for more updates about the project!
