Wing’s journey into urban farming feels like fate. It began with her grandmother, who sold vegetables as a hawker in the wet market to support her family. Her perseverance left a lasting influence, inspiring Wing to honour that legacy through Farmacy while tackling the pressing challenges of climate change and global food security.

Education has always been central to Wing’s path. With a BA in Education Studies and an MA in Communications, she has spent her entire career working across purpose-driven companies to make knowledge meaningful and accessible. Her work spans enabling patient access to new medical therapies, pushing international safety testing into the public domain and setting a global standard, and setting up a social enterprise to respond to the urgent needs of COVID.

At Farmacy, what Wing values most is the opportunity to build new educational models with creativity, bringing students, communities, and partners together to learn, grow, and explore innovative ways of shaping a more resilient future.

Now a mom of two, she is inspired every day by her children, who remind her to bring compassion and balance to the world she cares about. Outside of Farmacy, Wing enjoys kayaking, tennis, interior design, ceramic homewares, and has a deep appreciation for architecture.
